The Auckland Cricket Association applied to the City Council last evening for a remission of £l9 10b, fees outstanding m respect of wicket 3 it was unable to use la3t season because of the restrictions of the health authorities with respect to boys under The superintendent of parks reported that it was not until February 2 that the association gave notice that the pitches allocated would not be used. The usual labour was expended in preparation of the pitches and he felt very reluctant to recommend any On the recommendation 01 the Parks Committee the request was declined. HARBOUR. BOARD V.
