WAIKATO COUNTY ROADS.
OHINEWAI TO TE HOE. [BY TELECRAPir. -OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] HAM ILTON, Wednesday. The Waikato County Council met, Mr. J. P. Bailey presiding. A report on the road from. Ohinewai to Te Hoe showed that the estimated cost of metalling was £14,961, or, with interest and sinking fund added, £16,01 Llt was decided to submit the report to the ratepayers concerned. A complaint that the Kainui Road was in a disgraceful state was made by a deputation of settlers. Tho riding members agreed with the description given. They were deputed to meet the settlers and discuss ways and means of effecting repairs.. Authority was given for (he grading oi the Ncwstead Road.
