CRASHES INTO A PIER. LONDON. Oct. 2. The new motor ship Malabar, while on a trial trip in Wemyss Bay, crashed into a pier. It is reported that her steeringgear failed. She will bo put into drydock and is expected to sail for Australia on October 15.
