SIR ERNEST RUTHERFORD.
VISIT TO HAMILTON. THE WELLINGTON PROGRAMME, Sir Ernest Rutherford arrived in Hamilton yesterday by car from Waitomo, and. is staying with his brother, Mr. George Rutherford. He was entertained last, evening at a conversazione. Sir Ernest and Lady Rutherford will arrive in Wellington on October 26. Sir Ernest has promised to give an informal talk that afternoon to the science students at Victoria College. In the evening a reception will be tendered at Victoria College, arid the Governor-General and Lady Alice Fergusson have intimated their intention of "being present, A public address will be delivered by Sir Ernest Rutherford in the Town Hall on the following day, the subject chosen being " Atoms and Their Structure." During their s'iay in Wellington, Sir Ernest and Lady Rutherford will be the guests of Professor and Mrs. Florence.
