••A COLOSSAL BLUNDER." LONDON. Oct. 5. The. Rev. R. J. Campbell, preaching in St. Paul's Cathedral, said that some of the most thoughtful men were beginning to think that the Great War had been a colossal, tragic and avoidable blunder. Lord Grey's memoirs seemed to confirm the accuracy of such a generalisation. Nevertheless, the soldiers had behoved that/ they died ior hngland, the result being to their sternal spiritual gain.
