MOTOR TRAFFIC FEES.
THE WELLINGTON DISTRICT. LARGE AMOUNT COMING IN. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT-J WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The heavy traffic fees paid to the Wellington City Council for the Wellington district up to to-day totalled £9265 12s 4d and Hutt Road fees. £9964 9s 2d. 'lhe financial year has stdl almost five roonihs to run, so that it is more than probable that motorists in this district, will contribute well over £20,000, practically all of it to reading unci road improvement, this financial year. Latterly there has been a. marked increase in the number of motor vehicles on the road, "but the ha>vest time of motor salesmen toward the Christmas is only cormncEtcing.
