SHOCKING MOTOR FATALITY
CAPSIZE NIAR BRISBANE. YOUTH AND GIRL KILLED. TWO OTHERS CRITICALLY HURT. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received 10.35 p.m.) A. and N.Z. BRISBANE. Oct. 6. A shocking motoring fatality occurred near Brisbane to-day. A car, containing the driver and seven passengers, skidded when it was rounding a bend in the road. The vehicle capsized and slid for a distance of 15yds. along the road with the occupants pinned beneath it. Thom&s Walls, aged 17, and Vera Cassall, aged 20, were killed. Frank Wilson and Vera Hancock were critically injured. The other occupants of the car were less seriously hurt.
