WOMAN AT EXECUTION.

CARRYING OUT HER. DUTY. (Received 5.5 p.m.) Reuter. LONDON. Sept. 24. An execution was attended by a woman for the first time when a murderer named Keen was hanged at Glasgow this morning. Mrs. Man' Bell, a junior magistrate, was present in her official capacity. There had been agitation; in the city about Mrs. fiell attending the execution, but she resisted all efforts to dissuade her, declaring that she disliked the task, but that women in public life must do their work thoroughly.
