PERILS OF THE ROAD.
Sir,—'/ Wet Feet" thinks he knows something about "Better "Oles," down Victoria Park way, but if he will only come out to Mount Albert ho will get «i real education. The language of tbe motorists on New North Road has made the skyscape a beautiful azure bine, much admired by pedestrians, and I am told that various motor-spring makers are going to establish ambulance Motions from Kingsland to the terminus for the benefit of the wounded on -that road. The members of the Mount Albert Council and the Mayor could easily bo buried in the numerous ready-made •gravels on the road, which would certainly improve the road, but there would be no hope of the proverbial "At Rest" on their tombstones unless their successors did the many things w&nted to the road now being left undone. Rookeh-up.
