While Mr. John darken, of Karangahake, who is employed by the Waitawheta Timber Company, was cycling along the main road on Saturday tho fork of his machine broke, precipitating him with great force to the ground. He was stunned and when picked up was found to have received severe lacerations to his face and one of his hands. He was also suffering from shock. He is under treatment in the Waihi Hospital,.
