MOTOR-CABS COLLIDE.

PARNELL. RISE ACCIDENT.

BOTH VEHICLES DAMAGED.

collision between two motor-cars occurred on the Parnell Rise early yesterday afternoon, considerable damage being done to both vehicles. Rain was falling at the time A light Sedan driven by Mr. R. B. Cruickshank, of St. Heliors Bay, was proceeding down tho hill and collided near the Strand with a fiveseater car driven by Mr. R. H. Thompson, of 63, Taylor's Road/Mount Albert.

The cars camo together with 6ome violence on the corner. A pole at the junction was. struck, and the two cars came to rest ou the footpath. The sedan had the -radiator, front wheels and back axle smashed, while the other car was extensively damaged, the radiator and mudguards suffering most. Both drivers escaped injury.
