FERRY LANDING STAGES.

LOADS TO BE LIMITED. CONDITION OF DUDER'S WHARF. Tho weak condition of certain of the vehicular ferry landiag stages in relation to the heavy traffic they have to bear was referred to in officers' reports presented to the Auckland Harbour Board yesterday. It was decided that, as tlw stages were not built to take tho weight of traffic suited to concrete stages, the. weight of loads to be carried should l.e limited .and that in future lorries 'would have to traverse them one at a time. A request that the cargo wharf at Davonport, known as Duder's Wharf, should be strengthened was received from New Zealand Roads, Ltd., which considered it to be dangerous for largo capacity vehicles. The Works Committee was asked to inspect the structure.
