ACCIDENT IN AUSTRALIA. LE FORTE BREAKS BACK. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Rccd. 1.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, Aug. 9. Tho visit of tho racehorse Le Forte to Sydney ended fatally. He fell when he was negotiating an obstacle in tho Moorfiekl Hurdles on Saturday and broke his back. The animal had to be destroyed. The jockey, Harris, was not injured.
