INDUSTRIAL EVILS.
MR. BALDWIN'S REMEDY. IMPERIAL PREFERENCE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 9. The writer, Gossiper, in Reynolds News says the Prime Minister, Mr. Stanley Baldwin, recently made a remark which showed that ho contemplates another election shortly. His idea, says tho writer, is to obtain a mandate for a comprehensive programme of Imperial preference as being tho only remedy of the existing industrial ovils.
