Workers engaged in repairing the Wa> kiekie Tunnel held a stop-work meeting on Wednesday evening to consider what action tq take in regard to the dismissal of one of theii number. After deliberating ior some time they decided to request the union officials to wait on the engineer in charge and endeavour to ascertain a reason for the man's discharge and tje meeting adjourned until a report wa3 received. The men are not working in the meantime.
