The Rodney Agricultural Society has Appointed Mr. Mark Fletcher chairman and has set up an energetic committee "which has set to Work preparing for the show faext February. A wide canvass will Dbc made for members and donations. With the erection of the new factory jrenowed interest is being taken in dairying. A number of farmers have gone afield am? imported good stock, principally Jerseys, The factory building is nearly ready and the fitters are at work installing the machinery. v Archbishop Averili paid a flying, visit to Jh 8 "district, holding confirmation services , „ At Warkworth and Malakanx The builders have almost finished the lactditions to the Distinct High School wk! the painters are at work.
