LATE MR. A. E. WHITE.

RACING CLUB'S CONDOLENCES . [bt thocorapr.—press association, J WELLINGTON, Friday. The committee of the Wellington Racing Club passed a resolution expressing deep regret at the death of Mr. A, E. Whyte, appreciation of his great and able services, and conveying sincere sympathy to Mrs. Whyte and family. It was also decided to abandon the club's annual ball. The late Mr. Whyte was 54 years of age. He underwent »n operation «or appendicitis a fortnight ago, but suddenly collapsed. Ho was at one time on the staff of the Bank of New Zealand ih Auckland'.
