ESTATE WORTH £131,355. LATE MR. W. S. ROYCE. j LONDON'. Juno 21. j The late Mr. W. 8. Royce, formerly a Conservative, who became Socialist and | chairman of the. Commonwealth Labour Group in tho House of Commons,, left an estate valued, at £131,355. He died on June 23 last year on top of an omnibus while on his way to the Colonial Office to accept the Governorship of Tasmania, which had been offered him by the MacDonald Government. It was after Mr. Royce's death that tho present Governor , of Tasmania, .Sir .James O'Grndy, was appointed.
