WAIKATO COUNTY.
THE TAUHEI MAIN ROAD. [by telegraph.—own correspondent. ] HAMILTON, Tuesday. The Waikato County ' Council met today, Mr. J. P: Bailey presiding. It was agreed to support the proposal of the ratepayers on the main Tauhei Road to raise a loan of £SOOO for metalling the road and-to offer to do tho grading and attend to the culverts. . A motion to appoint a county engineer was defeated. Mr. J: A. Sampson, o£ Waerenga, was welcomed as tho nowlyt elected representative of the Whangamarino Riding. i'
