SALVAGING ABANDONED* ROUGH SEA PREVENTS ATTEMPT. [by telegraph,—own correspondent. ] , WHANG-AREI. Saturday. The -weather conditions during the week have been such that the launches Lady Eva and ICumi which have been weatherbound at Tutukaha, have given up the project of attempting to raise the sunken' fishing boat, Marsden, at the Poor Knights Islands, and will ■ return to Whangarei as soon as the sea is calm enough -for towing the barge with derrick attached.
