CRASH INTO A TRAIN.

MOTOR-CAR CRUMPLED UP. OCCUPANTS ESCAPE LIGHTLY. [by telegraph.— own correspondent.] WANGANUI. Monday. The driver of a motor-car had a miraculous escape this afternoon. When approaching the Hatrick Street railway crossing, he dashed right into an outgoing train and the impact caused the car to close up almost like a concertina. Strange to say, neither the driver nor a friend with him was hurt other than receiving a few cuts. It is thought the driver put his foot on the accelerator instead of the brake.
