POINT CHEVALIER FIRE.

DAMAGE TO A SHOP. Fire broke out in a shop in Point Chevalier Road shortly after two o'clock yesterday morning. The City Fire Brigade received a call to the premises, which are owned and occupied by Mr. T. W. Boles, and on arrival found the outbreak centred in tho front portion of the building. The flames wore extinguished before extensive damage had been done, although some of the contents and fittings were lost. The building is insured in the New Zealand Insurance Company for £6OO, the shop itself being covered by a policy of £IOO.
