The, North T.-.iaml "Motor Union at, its half-yearly meeting tonight decided to forward a remit to the New Zealand Conference stronglv urging it to bring all its weight to bear in having only one speed traffic regulation brought into force in the Dominion—-a regulation the same as was now enforced in older countries of Europe that the motorist bad to drive with sefety. " There should not be any restrictions at all. It. is time New Zealand learned a little from older countries," remarked the mover, Dr. Forritt, It, was decided to support the .Auckland association in its objection to the special heavy traffic fees proposed to be inade on private, rnotor-cars by the Auckland City Council.
