SEAMAN ON HORORATA. CAUGHT BY HEAVY SEACOMPANION'S NARROW ESCAPE. When the steamer .Hororata, which berthed yesfetday, wis three days out from Liverpool, ». young sailor was swept overboard and lost in the height of a severe storm. A companion narrowly escaped a similar fate. From tho time she left Liverpool, the Hororata, encountered bad weather, with mountainous seas. At about 10 o'clock on the morning of January 13, three, days after leaving port, two A.B.'s, F. Kindred and Everett, were, sent aft to cover a ventilator on the lee side of the ship. Everett was moro fortunate, for his leg;-, caught in the. side rails, and ho was able to cling on until rescued from his precarious position by two passengers.
