Mitchell, arrived in Auckland by the Ulimaroa on Tuesday after an eight months' tour of England and the United States. Mr. Pope, of Auckland, has been selected from 25 applicants as consulting electrical engineer to the Uawa County Council. Timsru last evening to take part in the annual conference of the New Zealand branch of the British Medical Association. Dr. W. H. Parkes leaver this evening.
