ANNIVERSARY REGATTA.
THURSDAY'S ARRANGEMENTS. ! ENTRIES AND HANDICAPS. The Auckland Anniversary Regatta Committee met last evening, Mr. B. W. Beaumont presiding over a large attendance. the chairman reported that all arrangements were well in hand and while the subscriptions were now coming in freely, more money was Still required to make the regatta a financial success. Up to the present, the sum of £574 had been received, and at least another £l5O was wanted, especially as ;tho prize-money had been increased this year. The scow Kitty Frazer had been placed at the disposal of the committee as the officials' boat, which would be moored off the Calliope Dock. The Rangitoto would make a number of trips up and down the harbour to follow the races, the first trip starting from the wharf about 9.45 a.m. The following entries and handicaps have been declared for the regatta, which takes place on Thursday, the first race starting at 9.45 a.m.:— SAILING EVENTS.
