OBITUARY.
DR. W. B. ODGERS, K.C.
Australian an.l N.Z. Cable Association. (Heed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 17. The death is announced of Dr. William Blake Odgers, K.C.
Dr. Odgers was born at Plymouth in 1849. the son of a Unitarian minister. After a distinguished scholastic caieer lie was admitted to the Bar in 1873. where lie pained considerable distinction. Of various appointments the most impoitant was that of director of legal studies of the luns of Court, a post he held from 19C5. lie published several legal works, the best kn.iwn dealing with the common law of Knglawl, pleading and practicc, and precedents.
