The article in the Amnesty Law which specifically mentions M.M. Caillaux um) Malvy, was passed by 3-47 votes to 195, in the Chamber of Deputies.
There was a dramatic scen6 when M. Malvy made his sensational revelations r.f a former Government's payments to the newspaper, Bonnet Rouge. He concluded : " I was- made responsible for what the Cabinet did. The country ought, to know the truth of the frightful drama of which 1 was a victim. I ask the Chamber to appoint a commission of inquiry.
An interrupter shouted: " If Malvy becomes the accu'ie.r, Clemenceau will be the accused. Let Tie ' Tiger' sleep, for if he begins to move, there will be a elamotir throughout the country."
