ALLEGATION OF FORGERY.

MAN COMMITTED FOR TRIAL

A charge of having forged and uttered a cheque for £6 10s was preferred against Charles Henry Glover, aged 43 (Mr. Sullivan), in the Police Court yesterday, before Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M. Evidence was given that a cheque presented by accused to a shopkeeper at Takapuna was not genuine. Accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail was fixed at £100.
