AUCKLAND ARCHITECTS.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS.
The annual meeting of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Institute of Architects was held on Thursday, Mr. W. 11. Gummer presiding. There were about 20 members present. The following' officers were elected:— Chairman, Mr. W. H. Gummer; vice-chair-man, Mr. F. L. Moodie; lion, secretary, Mr. E. G. Le Petit; hon. treasurer, Mr. H. L. Massey: committee, Messrs. 11. C. Grierson, C. R. Ford, R. A.. Abbott, A. J. Palmer, M. K. Draffin, R. A. Lippincott, and A. M. Bartley. Several Hamilton members were present, and they spoke of the need for the formation of a Hamilton branch. It was decided to form a South Auckland branch. An interesting lecture on Acoustics was given by' Mr. Lippincott.
