UNION MEMBERS SURPRISED.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Friday. To the surprise of many members of the Seamen's Union and other people the Mahana sailed for Lyttelton this evening.

No men were signed at Wellington to fill the vacancies caused by the imprisonment of those who were sentenced at the Magistrate's Court on Thursday as the vessel still had her legal complement.
