SCHOOL TEACHER'S DEATH.
WOUND SELF-INFLICTED. [T)l r TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Friday. At au inquest on tho body of William Voysey, headmaster of Shannon State school, it was disclosed that deceased met his death by a gunshot wound, self-in-flicted. Ho was found dead in tho kitchen of his school residence, with a gun alongside, and a wound over tho heart. j He left a note indicating an intention of I taking his life on account of ill-health, and also giving directions as to the disposal of his affairs. Deceased had been headmaster at ! Shannon for 35 years, and was previously I a teacher in Wcstland. Ho was a single j man, and due to retire at the end of the ! present year.
