PRIZE RACING BOAT.

TAURANGA OARSMEN, [BY TELEGRAPH.— OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAURANGA, Tuesday. A new clinker racing boat, built by Messrs J. Edwards and Sons, of Melbourne, to the order of tho Tauranga Rowing Club, reached Tauranga to-day. The boat is a prize presented by Mr. Holt, of B'awke's Bay, and was won in competition by the Tauranga oarsmen against other Bay. of Plenty crews. The club has every reason to bo proud of its new -boat, a"s the builders have made a first-class job of it. It should materially assist in upholding the prestige of local oarsmen.
