NEW LYNN TOWN BOARD.
ROADS AND FOOTPATHS.
The New Lynn Town Board met on Monday, Mr. C. F. Gardner presiding. A number of letters were read from ratepayers in various parts of the district complaining of the bad state of roads or footpaths. The board resolved, where the outlay involved was faniall, to give such relief as was possible, but the chairman stated that if every request were granted it would absorb half the year's income. The district would have to raise a comprehensive loan to do the work necessary to enable the roads to stand the traffic of to-day. /' : The board voted £10 toward the expense of maintaining a Plunket nurse in 'the district,-;--:
