One of those exchanges of official visits which do so much to cement the hond.of union between the respective Governments of the two great English-speaking races of the Pacific, British and American, took place recently, when the Administrator of Western Samoa, MajorGeneral G. S. ■Richardson, made his first official call on Captain E. S. Kellogg, United States Navy. '....., The new Governor of American Samoa, Captain' Kellogg, relieved Captain E. T. Pollock, who visited New Zealand with the Navy station ship ■ Ontario last year.
