INJURED MAN'S TRADE GONE. P— . '

Through' helping a constable to arrest e labourer, Samuel Lewis, of Whitechapel, states th°t he lost bis business as a mineral water manufacturer.

The labourer, John Fraser, was charged with causing grievous bodily harm. Mr. . Lewis, said the prosecuting solicitor was kicked and severely injured. He was taken to hospital, and for a time his life was in danger. When he recovered he-found he had lost practically the whole of his trade.

The magistrate promised to inquire if the man could be helped in any way.
