Captain P. Thfet, who has resigned the chairmanship of the Waitemata County Council, owing to his election as a member of the Main Highways Board, was accorded a hearty vote of thanks by members of the council yesterday. Captain Theet will continue to be a member of the council of which he has been chairman since May. 1922.
