WELLINGTON. Wednesday.

The winter railway time-table will come into force on Monday . next. In respect of main lines trains in the North Island, the amalgamation of the Auckland to Thames and Rotorua expresses is announced. Instead of a train leaving Auckland for Thames at 9.12 a.m. and one for Rotorua at 10.5 a.m., one train will leave Auckland at 9.12 a.m., running "combined" as far as Morrinsville. The express from Thames will leave at 9.21 instead of 9.5 a.m.
