MAN FOUND UNCONSCIOUS.
BOY'S FALL FROM MOTOR. HE- - :... -■ ... Several accident cases were admitted to the Auckland Hospital yesterday. , Severe injuries to his back were sustained yesterday by a married man, Mr. Arthur Pilcher, aged 42, who resides in Princes Street, Otahuhu. Mr. Pilcher was struck in the back by an iron block weighing over 301b., which fell some 13ft., while he was working at the municipal abattoirs at Westfield. A married man, Mr. John Whitlow. 46 years of age, was admitted last evening with a severe cut on the back of his head. He was discovered by his son lying unconscious at his residence at 17, Belgium Street. It is presumed he tripped and fell, striking his head on the floor. A six-year-old boy, Ernest Macpherson, residing with his parents at 54, O'Neill Street, Ponsonby, sustained slight injuries to his head last evening. He jumped off a motor-car while ft was in motion, with the result that he fell on to the road.
