Head-testing lias reva/aled many remarkable results in this district, but perhaps' the v most remarkable is that just recorded vby the Morrinaville Dairy Company's Herd-testing Association, of a • Jersey- cross cow in the herd of Mr. H. Roberts, of Sturkeys Road. . For the 30 days of April this cow gave the exceptional yield, of 16501b. of milk, with a test of 7.5, giving 123.751b. butter-fat. The cow calved on February 10. • For the month of April, a butter-tat V yield of 501b. for the 30 day 3 is considered particularly good, and even during the flush months a total of 1001b. is exceptional.
