THOROUGH JOB AT TAUHEI. [BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] . MORRESTSVILLE. Wednesday. The benefit of the thorough cleaning outgiven the drains under . the control of the Tauhei Drainage Board during the summer was shown during the recent heavy rains. Last winter a good real of flooding took place, but the recent down- , pours have not given rise <to any complaint. This is highly satisfactory as it is not expected that heavier rain will be ex-' perienced during the coming winter than | that which fell at the beginning of April. | The system of cleaning adopted this year included deepening. », - v >'•
