In all 302 pigs were deceived from 62 farmers.' This number is easily a record as far. as Morrinsville is : concerned.' the * previous largest quota being 184. The return to the farmers is estimated at £1120. The average price per pig was in the vicinity of £3 14s . to £3 15s. • V■' | Buyers found that the supply of ; trucks was > insufficient for railing the animate away, provision having, being made for only 200. . * ' ;
