The March figures of the Morrinsville Herd-testing Association show the best herd, one of 31 cows, to have an average yield of butter-fat of 37.081b., the total milk being 8601b., with a 4.4 test. The highest individual yield was 59.041b. of butter-fat, 6151b. of milk with a 9.6 test. The average for the poorest herd was 16.731b. of butter-fat, 4011b. of milk and a 4.17 test. The lowest individual yield was 4.991b. butter-fat, 1351b. milk with a 3.7 test.
