DISEASE AMONG CATTLE.
LOSSES IN CALIFORNIA. Sun . WASHINGTON. April 20. The Government is appropriating £500,000 to help the State of California to fight the foot and mouth disease. Californian fruitgrowers are threatened with enormouu losses owing to rail and steamer transport being stopped as a result of the cattle regulations.
