FAMOUS FILLY MISSING.
NOT SEEN ON THE TRACKS. LONDON. April 4. Racing writers ar,e asking what has become of Mumtaz Mahal, the two-year-old filly which was unexpectedly defeated last October, after winning five successive races, by Mr. Anthony Rothschild's Arcade. It is pointed out that the filly is never seen at exercise, and that she is not in training, although the classic races are approaching. Possibly, it is suggested, the filly's care or may turn out to be a repetition of that, of her. sire, The Tetrarch, the letter's phenomenal career having ended as a two-year-old.
