INTER-CLUB COMPETITION.
An inter-club match between the Eden and Epsom and the Mount Albert Lawn Tennis Clubs waa played on Saturday, the Eden and Epsom team winning by 9 games to 4. The details are as follow, Eden and Epsom players being mentioned first in each instance — Men's Singles.—Gardner lost to Nicholson, 6—6, 6—l. —6; Turner beat Boyee, —2. 63: Jackson beat Wells, 6—l. 6—3; Francis beat Stenberg, 5—6, —1, —8. Ladies' Singles. Miss P. Miller beat Mrs. Burn, 10—6; Miss D. Miller beat Miss A. McClymont, 10— Men's Doubles.Gardner and Turner beat Bores and Wells, 46. 60, 6—4; Jackson and Francis beat Nicholson and Stenbortr, —6, 62,: 6*: Potter and Campbell beat Brown and Shaahell, 6—4, 65. Ladies' Doubles.—Misses Miller and Miller beat Mrs. Burn and Miss McClymont, 10—6; Misses Robson and Mueller lout to Misses J. McClymont and Lewis, 8— Combined Doubles.— Mueller and Potter lost to Mies McClymont and Burn, —10: Miss Robson and Campbell lost to Miss Lewis and Shackell, 6—lo. Total.—Eden and Epsom, 9 games: Mount Albert, 4. MATCH AT PAKURANGA. A tennis match was played on the Pakuranga courts between a team from East Tamaki and the Pakuranga Club.
