The State Governments of Victoria, New South Wales, and South Australia are taking action for the repeal of the registration of the Public Servants' Association under the Commonwealth Arbitration Act as an industrial body of employees. One of the grounds of the action is that members are employed by the King, and are not engaged in any industry, TROUBLE WITH TKAMWAYMEN. BRISBANE, April 8. A meeting of the Tramway Employees' Union discussed the tramway department's alleged ' flouting of the Federal award, and decided to take a ballot on the question whether the union shall declare a regulation strike during the visit of the Special Service Squadron as a protest. If they decide in the affirmative, the employees will adhere so strictly to the regulations that they will practically disorganise the tram service*
