PURDY OLYMPIC FUND. NEXT MONDAY'S CARNIVAL A good exhibition of boring should bo witnessed at the carnival to bo hold at the Town Hall next Monday evening by tho Northern Boxing Association, in aid of tho Purdy Olympic Fund. The chief attraction will bo a professional light-weight content between 11. May, of Auckland, and E. Volairo, of Australia, A keen, close bout should bo provided, as both boxers have excellent performances in the Auckland ring to their credit. Volaire ha 3 boxed with distinction in various countries, and has a fine record. May, who has shown great improvement since entering the professional ranks, pojses-'ses both speed and power to a marked degree. Tho Olympic candidate, C.
