REORGANISATION proposal. LEAGUE Am) ASSOCIATION. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH. Monday. At, the annual meeting of the Marist Brothers Old Boys' Football Club, held on Sunday, Bishop Brodie approved of a proposal that the executive of the association be reorganised on the original basis as a social organisation, leaving activities in athletics to be controlled by committees appointed by the respective sports bodies It was decided to form two sections of athletics and apply to the Canterbury Rugby League and Canterbury Football Association for affiliation.

WITHDRAWAL FROM UNION. fltT TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPOND'! 1 GREYMOUTH, Monday. After a meeting, from which the press was excluded, the secretary of the Marist Brothers Old Boys' Association, Mr. T. O'Hailoran, stated that the meeting had been of the opinion that the success of the teams in the various centres had led the unions to attempt to break up the Marist organisation, and tho following motion had been unanimously carried: — " That the Greymouth Marist Brothers Old Boys' Football Club secede from the West Coast Rugby Union and nominate first, second, third, and fourth grade teams in the competitions of t'iio West Coast Rugby League."
