WOMEN AS JUDGES.
PROVISION IN BELGIUM. Times. LONDON, April 4. The Brussels correspondent of the Times says that the feminist movement in Bel-, gium is slowly but surely making headway. . The latest triumph came yesterday,' when the Chamber by 110 votes to 18, decided that henceforth women may be appointed judges in Commercial Courts. Belgian women are already eligible for membership of the Chamber , and Senate, though, they are not allowed to participate in' elections to those Assemblies, their electoral rights only extending to municipal bodies.
